AGM Batteries

 

AGM batteries are designed with deep discharge and high cycle life. These batteries have been developed to use for the systems having load profile which require high current in short time such as telecommunication, uninterrupted power supplies and renewable energy.

Internal structure of AGM batteries is different from regular lead acid batteries. The liquid electrolyte in the battery has been impregnated around the highly porous fiberglass, which also serves as separator. Battery plates and these separators are positioned into the battery cells by a special method so as to occupy minimum space. The biggest advantage of AGM batteries is that they can be charged by wet battery charging methods.
